What is StV biology?

The Student Council (StV) for Biology generally represents (as the name suggests) the interests of students externally. We sit on committees where we can help decide what our studies will look like in the future. In addition, we plan events and networking opportunities that benefit all students.

Our Team

….currently consists of 15 members, all of whom work on a voluntary basis to represent you and plan events. Five members of our team have been elected by you for a term of two years.

Our tasks and activities

As student representatives, we act as a link between students and the university. Our tasks include representing students in dealings with teaching staff, assisting with curriculum revisions, appointing new professors, and providing advice on academic, social, and financial matters. We also organise tutorials, sporting events, and other activities that enrich student life and are accessible to all students.
